Well it took more than 2 weeks for me to leave the desert and get to my front door. Long trip home. But it is REALLY good to finally be home. I have a full plate of things that I need/want to do. I am hoping next week to be able to take Ellie out for her first hunt. We will see if that happens. I am going to Fresno to visit U. Ray and learn how to build custom cabinets. Jessica wants me to pour concrete or lay some stone in half of the side yard. That will be a huge project. But it is her only stipulation before I get a second dog. We decided that Ellie could use a friend to keep her a little more occupied. Jessica took me to a place called Mirr Woods. It is a small section above San Fran with red woods. That was the first time that we have ever seen those big guys. It was raining and the fog set in so we could not see the ocean from our 2 mile hike, but it was a good time none the less. It was nice to be in the forest again. Well I think that this is long enough. I will post some pics of our little trip soon.

Hunting

As you may (or may not) know, I am a hunting junky. I am missing out on the Malad hunt this year due to military obligation. Well, just because I am not there does not mean that it is not still on the fore front of my mind. Here is a picture that I came across and thought that I should share. I hope that you all enjoy! I was looking over the many blogs that I know you guys have, and I realized that I did not tell you that I am officially edjamacated. I have obtained my Associates degree. I have a few more classes to go before I get my BA in Business Administration. So that is good. Jessica has done the same thing. Just thought that I would pass that on. Maybe someday it will pay off. I saw parts of Kris' wedding. Wish I could have been there. Looked like it was a good time. I am looking forward to coming home. Not much longer now. Well that is all for now. Well if all goes as planed, I should be home this time next month! If you don't have anything to do, stop by our place. (open invitation to everyone!) Jessica is staying busy going to several concerts and playing with Ellie. I am very please to hear that she takes her to the park almost everyday after work. The photo is one that Jess sent me from a new dog park that she goes to. What a cute dog. I might be bi est. Looking forward to seeing everyone real soon.

So the BX here (the little American shop like walmart only worse) finally got some Arizona teas in stock. It is going to be a good day. If you have never had one, I suggest that you stop what you are doing and go buy some. I think that my favorite is the Arnold Palmer. They are delicious. I can't get those out here though. I only have about one month left. Looking forward to seeing y'all at Thanksgiving. Have a great day!!

Time for an update

Well it has been busier than it has in the past. But there is a little break right now, so I figured I will put something up here. The days go by fairly fast here. I try to study for promotion everyday. Some days are better than others. I also try to get to the gym after work. That is always a good way to end the day. Other than that, it is back to work to start it all over agian. A lot like "Ground Hog Day". But, I know what to expect that way I guess. I am really looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my family this year. It has been too long since the last time we spent a holiday together. Well that is it for now. I hope that the picture that I put on works. Talk to y'all soon.

Changes to my Blog

Well I tried to make changes to the list of people but I could not find the option to sort the way I wanted. Oh well. I did find a neat thing to add though. As you can see, there is now a place on the right that inputs ideas that make you think and hopefully laugh. I thought it was a good idea. For now. Let me know what you think. It should change every time you log in or periodically. So look often and laugh a lot. Also enjoy the new poster.

Just thought that I would step away from my work for a minute and check my blog. Not much to report here. Still sand over here. I am able to talk to Jess for a few minutes almost every day. So that is nice. You probably don't belive me, but..... I still can't wait to leave. Hard to imagine I know. Well I better get back to work. Hope you like my picture update. My lovely sister brought up a good point. I already spoke with my mother and she said that Ellie can stay there. No need to worry yourselves. besides she is mostly well manored. (just dont leave bear rugs out) I also have a creat for her and Jess said that she will be able to take her to the park and on outings. All is good. Have a great day!

I am still here and I hate to say it, but I am ALREADY counting the days. I am very much looking forward to spending some time with y'all over the holiday. It should be a great time. Lets get a list going with what everyone wants to bring. I know a good recipe for ham!!! I will also be working in some time to go archery hunting while I am there. You didn't think that I would skip a year did ya? Jess will be coming with me and staying the entire time ( if she put in for leave) so that will be nice. I will also have my little dog. Hopfully we can hunt some phesants or something while I'm there. We will have to see. Well that is it for now. I will talk to y'all soon.

I must be on a roll! Things are going good still. We are all starting to count the days till we go home. Hope that it comes soon. But it wont be soon enough. Jessica leaves in a week and I wont be able to see her till she comes home in June. So if anyone wants to come down and visit me that would be GREAT. It is just going to be Ellie and myself. So I thought that I would check my blog and I see that I have not been on since November. A little has happened between now and then belive it or not. I am currently deployed. No pictures to post this time though. Not much to see anyhow. Still no deffinate date for me to come home. Oh well. Outside of that things are normal. Just as a reminder better do your taxes! New Addition to the Family

NO we are not haveing a baby!!! But we did get a beautiful new puppy. Her name is Ellie. The papper work name will be Ben. Ellie which for you that don't know is a brand of shotgun that I own. She is a 12 week old Vizsla. That is a Hungarian pointing dog. So she has natural ability to point out birds! Lucky Jess right? Just what she wanted. Well hope all is well with you, we are doing great (minus a few pee spots). Hope you like her as much as we do (if you don't I still will)!

Ok so it has been a few days so I figured I will put on another post. Here are a few photos of what I have been up to lately. Sorry it has taken so long. No promises when the next one will be so soak this one in! So I decided that the military is not such a bad life, so I re-enlisted for another 6 years. Hope the next six go by just as fast as the first 7! I have been neglecting my bike, so Jess and I went out for a nice ride and took this photo.

Hey all, I know that I have been slacking a little bit on the blog, sorry. The last place that I was at was a little difficult getting to a computer. Jessica says that she knows how to make it all fancy looking and is chomping at the bit to help me....so I should be able to put on several photos of the deployment and maybe some other stuff here shortly. I hope that you all had a wonderful 4th of July, and like I told my immediate family.....YOU'RE WELCOME!

teeth gone missing

the picture shows right side but really it is on the left. so, I slipped in the shower. dont do that metal -vs- teeth metal wins! so the tooth was broken below the bone line and could not be repaired. so i will have to put a plastic spacer in there till i get back home in two months. Then i will get my fake tooth put in. the front one that is damaged will just be capped, if it dont die, then i have to get a root canal. well that is my story. it sucked but i will live. after i swollowed my teeth i finished my shower and then went to the dentist around noon. end of story hope the pics dont gross you out.

Hey everyone,
It has been a little while, so I thought I would let you all know that I am still here and doing well. I stay VERY busy out here, but it is for a good cause. I finished school with a 92%. Not to bad. I will take more classes when I get home, but it is to demanding out here. I am looking forward to coming home. I have been gone for a little more than two months now. Over the half way mark! Well congrats to everyone. Kass, I noticed after I posted the last pics that if you clicked on them that it showed what I labeled them, but none the less. It was a good time. I was able to spend six hours there. Not a whole lot of time, but I can say that I have been there now. Jessica has been wanting me to take her there for years! Now I might have to. I have been very busy with school lately. Writing essays and taking tests. I remember why I dropped out last time. But it is not going to get done by itself, so I guess I have to do my part. It has been awhile sience my last time that I said hi so here I am. Things are very busy here. I don't get a whole lot of down time, and when I do I have school to do. I am enjoying my job though, and time does seem to pass fairly fast. So that is a bonus. I am looking forward to going home and doing my own cooking! I like to think that my wife's and mine is a little better than what I have been getting. Did you all have a good fools day? Any good pranks? I know that you all have kids and that is the only reason that I could think of having any. More people to harass and pick on. What do you all think of my new hair cut? I thought that bald was not that bad of an idea. I have been here at England for about eight hours now, and just woke up, and should be getting some of my school work done. I have several weeks of homework to do and a mid-term to complete so i better get at it. Hope to hear from all of you soon.

Well it has been a little while since the last time I logged on, Jess is now gone. we only got to spend about five hours together, but that is more than we were expecting! Things are going well. The hours are long, and the time off seems short, but that is life in general i guess. i have been taking lots of photos, so i will see about posting some new ones. nothing really new i guess. well i have school work that i should go do. talk to yall soon.

First, I would like to thanks all of you for your prayers and thoughts for Jessica and myself. It is comforting to know that you all are behind us. Things are going well. It is starting to get warm here, and by warm I mean 85. By next month this time it will be around 105-120. Tell you what, I'm excited! I am trying to stay busy, thankfully I don't have to try that hard. I fly all the time and when I'm not I am in the gym or the education center working on my Bachelors. Well I have to fly in a little bit, so I better go get ready, I pray for all of you daily as I know you do for me. Thanks again for all the support.
